By accessing or using AI Calorie Scanner - FoodMate's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the app.
Use of Service
AI Calorie Scanner - FoodMate provides nutrition tracking, meal planning, and AI coaching services for personal health and wellness. You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms:
- You must be at least 16 years old to use our services
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You agree not to share your account with others
- One subscription allows sign-in on up to 5 devices simultaneously
Prohibited Activities
You may not use AI Calorie Scanner - FoodMate for:
- Any illegal activities under applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Transmitting malware, viruses, or other malicious code
- Unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Harassment, abuse, or harm to others
- Uploading content that promotes disordered eating or self-harm
- Spamming or sending unsolicited bulk communications
- Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
Health Disclaimer
AI Calorie Scanner - FoodMate provides general wellness information and AI-generated nutrition estimates. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition or history of disordered eating.
Subscription and Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select) through the App Store or Google Play. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for all applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the App Store/Google Play.
Limitation of Liability
AI Calorie Scanner - FoodMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the app. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
